Galene was surrendered to HSS, and since then has blossomed into a soft, fluffy and perpetually active girl!
She needs a large, unbarred cage due to her high activity levels, and would fit in best with a family that has the time to free roam her in a completely safe environment with supervision. Galene is not that well potty trained, and her wheel (which she runs on daily at night) needs to be cleaned regularly in order to ensure she has a safe and sanitary environment. After some TLC with her fosterer, she is extremely curious and will come and investigate any movement within her cage or around it.
Due to her background, her fosterer will require any potential adopters to commit to these listed requirements without any compromise, as she deserves a loving forever home with a family that will ensure all her needs are met for the future. Do DM her fosterer (@sailing_contradictions on Instagram) for any inquiries.
Requirements
Cage: Unbarred cage of at least 4500 sq cm or more (Larger cages are preferred, as her activity levels are really high and she loves to burrow) (No barred cages)
Wheel: 29cm or larger
Bedding: Paper-based (Oxbow),Fatpouches teabag bedding, Aspen & Birch (Safe variants, i.e Fatpouches) of 7 inches in height
Sand: Wittemolen / Versele Laga chinchilla sand
Food: Fatpouches Ultimate Mix (Syrian) or Fatpouches Premium Mix
Enrichment: Ceramic hideouts, large sand baths, sprays (flax is her favourite), and tons of time free roaming.
**As Galene is very active and skittish while being handled, she’s not suitable to be adopted in families with young children
