Kenma is home!
Casey (Special Care Required) (Adopted)
Species: Dwarf
Estimated age: 1 years old
Gender: Male
Likes: Almost all foods, attention from hooman, sleeping
Fosteror’s Instagram account: @moneytheham
Casey is the best hamster you will ever meet. He is a snuggle bug that loves attention so if you want a hamster that interacts well, he is for you. He is ever alert for any human presence and will scurry to your direction if he senses that you are around. He likes to be held and has never bitten anyone before. He also likes to climb up shirts.
He has won the hearts of every single hooman he has met. One thing his fosterer likes to do is to carry him flat on her palm, and use the other hand to massage his back. He bruxes like crazy! His fosterer has never seen a hamster brux so much and so easily. He is truly comfortable with every human being and it’s a really rare sight. Since he is a chonky boy, he lays down flat on people’s palms like a melted vanilla ice cream or a pancake.
He sleeps in the open when it gets warm and it’s really a sight to see. With his belly exposed to the world and his pink little nose twitching at times, he will melt your heart for sure.
He is a huge glutton and will pouch every single treat he has. His favourite thing to do is to lie down on his back and munch on food that he has pouched. He is living the life ~
Special Care:
However, he is pretty overweight (70g) and often naps at corners. His forever home needs to have sufficient enrichment so that he is inclined to move and lose weight.
His scent gland tends to get clogged very easily. It is recommended that his future adopter knows how to clean/squeeze scent glands OR bring him to the vet to have his scent gland cleaned and squeezed once every 1-2 months so that his scent gland does not get infected.
It should also be noted that his poor immune system results in chronic skin issues (bacterial infection). His future adopter needs to ensure that the cage is clean and bring him to the vet in case of severe fur loss.
Special requirements:
Cage: Minimum 80cm x 50cm. No bars.
Bedding: Fatpouches Teabag Bedding
Cage Set up: A naturalistic set up is encouraged for him to be stimulated and engaged in order to encourage him to move.
Adopter must interact with him everyday, and be prepared for potential vet visits.
Jin (Adopted)
Species: Syrian
Estimated age: 5 months old
Gender: Male
Likes: Almost all foods, veges, free roam
Dislikes: being startled
Fosteror’s Instagram account: @moneytheham
Jin is a very friendly hamster! Like a (human) child, he sleeps soundly (in the day) but goes wild (at night)! He is an energetic little boy who loves to run and climb everywhere. He startles a little when he hears sudden noises, but is tame and does not bite unless startled. He is okay to be held but would rather roam the land on his own! He goes crazy on his wheel every night!
His distinctive trait would be his floppy left ear, which we suspect was torn off when he was found abandoned at the park with his siblings. However, this does not affect his hearing at all and he is not in pain. His floppy ear is what makes him special!
Free roam time is when his personality really shines! He likes to explore every single nook and cranny in order to look for his next new favourite corners. Once he has settled and cleaned himself up, that is when his fun begins! He loves to find something to climb on, be it curtains or cupboard handles. His adopter needs to be very careful and supervise him when he is free roaming! He has a natural flair for climbing and is very persistent in going to the very top. Sometimes, he will use his fosterer as a stepping ‘stone’ to climb onto higher platforms. Don’t underestimate him, he is very intelligent! Maybe he can learn a trick or two if you put your heart to it.
Special requirements:
Cage: Minimum 100cmx50cm, no bars
Adopter must ensure that Jin has a hamster-proof room to free roam in every night. A playpen is not enough.
Billy (Adopted)
Species: Dwarf
Estimated age: 5 months
Gender: Male
Likes: Vegetables, Flax seeds, FP premium mix, burrowing, bathing sand
Dislikes: Not comfortable with being picked up
Billy is a super docile hamster, never bites but doesn’t like being overwhelmed with someone touching him, in short, he needs his space and wants to feel comfortable by you only interacting with him from a distance, he will feed from your hand, will let you pet him while he eats, will nip your finger to satisfy his curiosity. He has the potential to be one of those super trusting and friendly hammies if you give him unconditional love, his space, be patient and make your home a safe haven for him
He will use his wheel when its dark at night, and usually pees and poops on his wheel so it needs to be cleaned daily
He likes to burrow, so he would really enjoy having a deep bedding. He sleeps most of the day and comes out to drink water 2-3 times during the day and munches on flax seed sprays, he also stuffs food in his pouch and takes it in his burrow and eats there. He loves to munch on all new snacks and treats that Fat pouches has to offer (spoilt brat, I know)
Requirements
Wheel: he is using a bigger wheel – i.e ~30cm CARNO
Bedding: Oxbow or Fatpouches tea bag bedding
Food: FP premium mix, small quantity of vegetables, mazuri block, Flax seeds spray

Skippy (Adopted)
Species: Dwarf, Winter White
Gender: Female
Estimated Age: ~1 year
Likes: Sunflower seeds, treats, running on her wheel, acting cute
Dislikes: Being clean (she's a smelly bb but she is getting better at grooming herself)
Skippy was first identified as a screamer when she got rescued. But when I got her, she was the sweetest little bean and would stand on her 2 feet and reach her little hands out to reach for your finger. She’s very curious and would often stand in front of the cage door for treats. She absolutely loves sunflower seeds and biscotti treats. It’s a joy to watch her take it from you and sit down comfortably to eat. She also loves to run on her wheel every night!
While she is okay with hands being in her cage, she will still run away from you if you try to carry her. It’s always best to scoop her out with a taxi (aka a cup or a hideout) before playing with her. She is comfortable being on hands but will try her best to escape you and walk around the room instead. So if you hold her for too long without letting her go, she may nib at you (but it’s a smol tiny nib). It’s definitely recommended to let her free roam (if you have your room hamster-proofed) or provide her with a play pen for her to play in. She will definitely open up to you with more bonding sessions.
Skippy used to be a dirty girl (pees on wheel, HATES sand, etc.) but she’s recently potty trained herself and stopped peeing on her wheel. Her fur has also become less greasy and she looks more like a princess now. She has a cute baby face that you won’t be able to resist!! Will you be the one to pamper this princess?
Requirements:
At least 3 hideouts
Lots of enrichment (toilet roll as tunnel, tissue box as hideout, etc.)
Spacious sand bath
