Tomato was rescued from a hoarding case in July 2021 and was put on pregnancy watch as she was such a chonk, but it turned out to be her months-old food baby instead - oops. As she had to be treated for skin infections due to the unsanitary environment, she was put on medical observation and is now readier than ever for her forever home (read: personal chef and butler)!

This chonky girl loves to snack on her back and it’s hard for her to pick a favourite food as she loves almost any and every food… But if she had to choose, pine nuts would be her #1 love. She enjoys her daily dose of Fatpouches’ Premium Mix and would keep her half-block of Mazuri as a snack. When she’s not eating, you can find her snoozing away in her hideout or on her wheel.

She is not comfortable with fingers and may nip them (she thinks they’re french fries) pretty hard, but would allow handling on her good days and would appreciate some back rubs!

Will you be the one to love her from head to(ma)toe?

P.S. Tomato may have poop stuck in her folds of chonk from time to time and may need help removing them. :’)

Requirements:

Cage: Minimum 3500cm² base, unbarred. (Tanks are recommended!)
Bedding: Fatpouches Teabag / Oxbow Pure Comfort (sifted) / Fatpouches Birch
Food: Fatpouches Premium/Standard Mix + Mazuri Lab Blocks
Sand: Wittemolen / Versele Laga Chinchilla Sand
Wheel: min. 25cm (Daisy/Niteangel 25cm wheels are a personal recommendation!)
Enrichment: min. 3 hideouts/multichamber/tunnels and spays/herbs for foraging!
Note: Do get larger sized supplies (e.g. for Syrians) as she’s got quite some chonk!
