Yeti (Adopted)

Species: Syrian

Est. DOB: Jul 2023

Gender: Female

Likes: Burrowing, running on her wheel, treats, exploring at night
Dislikes: being grabbed unexpectedly

Yeti is an adorable Syrian hammo who loves to burrow and explore her surroundings. She was abandoned and (thankfully) found roaming around a block of HDB flats. Unfortunately, she came to us dirty, underweight, and with a swollen and broken leg. Despite this rough start, Yeti has shown incredible spirit and is now a healthy and chonky girly.

Yeti spends most of her day nestled in her burrows, emerging at night to run on her wheel and look for treats. She's a super chill and low-maintenance hammo and is easily content.

Though she's a night owl, Yeti is a big sweetie. She's still learning to trust humans and can be startled by sudden movements or noises. With patience and gentle handling, she is sure to become a loving and affectionate companion.

Yeti is looking for a forever home where she can continue to burrow, run, and enjoy her treats. She would thrive with a family that can provide her with love, patience, and plenty of opportunities for exploration.

Note: Yeti's leg has healed, but it's unknown if complications may arise later on. There's still a small bump at the site of the break :(

Requirements:

Cage: Unbarred, 100x50cm or bigger

Wheel: A lightweight 28-30cm wheel (to prevent excessive strain on her healed leg)

Bedding: As per HSS requirements, 12cm thick bedding because she enjoys making tunnels and burrowing

Food: Currently on fatpouches but any approved seed mix is ok!

Enrichment: a multi-chamber hideout, other types of hides, sprays, forage, enrichment

Note: Yeti is unable to have high platforms/climbing surfaces in her cage to prevent her from climbing and placing excessive strain on her leg. Shorter platforms (2-3cm above bedding height) are ok.
