Due to her glorious black coat, Ursula’s fosterer thinks she fits her namesake perfectly. Of course, Ursula is nothing like the villain she’s named after and is instead, very skittish (like all her siblings) yet greedy. She has the tendency to jump off human hands out of fear all of a sudden, so handling her lower to the ground or on a soft surface is highly recommended.
Both Morticia and her sister, Ursula, have a streak of white fur that stretches from their chins to their chests and the two look almost identical if not for the difference in size. Ursula is the bigger of the two, but she is still small for a Syrian her age. She also enjoys running but doesn’t seem very good at it.
Ursula is still a baby and is learning to trust humans. She is extremely vocal when annoyed (which her fosterer finds very amusing) and is definitely one of the noisiest hamsters her fosterer has come across. She may be small, but her personality is huge! Ursula is lots of fun and very entertaining to interact with.
Requirements:
Cage: Unbarred, 100x50cm or bigger
Wheel: A lightweight 25-30cm wheel (she is currently using a lightweight wooden 29 cm wheel but she may struggle with heavier acrylic wheels. The wheel should be upgraded as she grows)
Bedding: As per HSS requirements, 12cm thick bedding because she enjoys making tunnels and burrowing
Food: Currently on fatpouches but any approved seed mix is ok!
Enrichment: Plenty of hideouts, sprays, forage, boredom breakers, free roam/playtime time
