Ebi is a very young hamster, and hence has yet to learnt that humans are not here to harm her! She has grown more comfortable with humans since she has arrived at her fosterer's house - when she first arrived she screamed her little head off at anything that the humans did in her cage. Food refill? Scream. Treat? Scream. Spot-cleaning? Scream.

Now however, Ebi will dare to come to your hand to grab a sunflower seed or five, but is still very wary of approaching human hands. She requires a lot of patience, but with her food-motivation, it should not take that long for her to be further tamed.

Ebi adores her wheel and can be found pounding her little feet away on the track. She also likes to kick sand out of her sandbox and sleeping behind (not in) her hideouts.

She loves to eat, and every night at supper she anticipates her fresh food by running circles around her cage, stopping very briefly at her bowl to check if the humans have finally brought their offering. She clears her bowls diligently and isn't very picky.
