Dislikes: being chased around, not having attention, a small wheel, being woken up (but once he sees you he’ll WANT to come out.)

Appa is the perfect companion for somebody who wants to interact with their ham daily. Though extremely shy at first (and still prone to screaming in his sleep at times), he has since become one of the most attentive and affectionate hams around. Honestly more of a puppy than a hamster.

He’s not too food motivated but really enjoys attention and free-roam playtime! He WILL come out of his burrow to check on what’s going on if you walk into the room or turn on the lights or whatever and keep staring until you pick him up. Though he might nip at first, he melts comfortably once he’s in the palm of your hand.

Also, he smells really really good for some reason. Keeps his burrow clean and is extremely well groomed. Please give him a home worthy of his affection :-)
