Profile

Wild boar is a super gentle, and super soft (his fur is really, really soft) and somehow he smells sweet like maple syrup. After changing his bedding and cage a few times I can confirm it is the hamster himself that smells like maple syrup faintly. He has never bitten anyone in the past few months of being handled, fed, carried, cleaned. He is fairly young and has very beady eyes that kind of make him look scared and cute and asian.. hahaha.

He is a little bit timid and will run from you if you suddenly dip your hand into his cage to play with him. So do it slowly, with some food bribes, and let him smell your hand before petting him.

He loves running and clocked such a high mileage on our wheel counter compared to our other fosters. So make sure he has a comfortable, clean, big wheel that is silent. He likes sleeping in a corner and will hide underneath beddings. He is a little shy but super easy to find because he rarely changes hiding spots. If you need to check on him just look where you last saw him.
