Inspired by the anime ‘Sailor Moon’, Luna is named after the talking black-purple cat who mentors Sailor Moon. Resembling the character, she has a pair of huge ears and is agile, being an expert climber. Her soft fur coat may appear black but reveals a dark brown hue under the light with her little white socks, a tiny white chin and a white patch in the middle of her belly! Having a well-tempered personality, she is super curious, extra gentle and fearless (she is not afraid of hoomans aka you!). In fact, her fosterer didn’t even have to tame her! Although she may struggle after being held for a long period of time, she allows anyone to carry/hold her! At any time of the day, you can expect her being out and about, from staring endlessly into space to carrying whimzees into her hideouts, or even sitting at the enclosure’s door waiting for you to come home (not in a creepy way ><). She is also an early-riser (in hamster time, of course), so don’t be surprised if you see her exploring the cage or hearing the sprays rustle at 9:30pm hooman time! Some of her other activities include intensely digging in the sand or cork granules, making burrows and placing her hands up on the enclosure walls. In addition to being fun to observe, she is also a huge busybody that would follow sounds or even your hands to see what you are up to. Moreover, she has toilet-trained herself to pee at a specific spot (current chosen spot: sand) and you would occasionally catch her coming out for a pee break half awake, with her eyes squinted/partially open.
Curious and gentle natured Luna is the perfect companion for anyone who would love her random surprise appearances throughout the day, and wouldn't mind being her Sailor Moon :)
Red flag: She is a HUGE hoarder that leaves her food bowl looking empty whenever you just refill it! Sometimes, she also has the audacity to sit by her almost-empty food bowl looking like her fosterer starved her…
Fun fact: She is capable of opening up boredom breakers and may brux irritatedly when disturbed during her beauty sleep!
Medical history: Luna has a history of semi-soft stools but has made a stellar recovery! However, potential adopters should still monitor her stools closely for potential recurrences. You will be guided on her care by her fosterer, so no worries!
