Shroomy has a very soft and shiny coat and loves her food + treats. However Shroomy is timid, as she was previously housed with multiple male hamsters in a small cage, she is very cautious of sudden movement. She loves deep bedding and her Mushroom hideout (perhaps because it is ceramic too haha), she would often burrow around and pop her head out like a sentient cute fungus. HAHA

Shroomy would come out if you gave her a pine nut, her absolute favorite treat, she would reach out with her little paws to grasp your hand as she inhales the nut. She has that ‘baby’ look and whoever adopts her is very lucky. I believe Shroomy will become more open with a patient owner who will love her wholeheartedly.

Requirements for Shroomy Adoption:

No-Barred Cage:

Shroomy may have the tendency to scale bars and might not know how to come down properly. Hence, no barred cages would be best for her as a spinal injury might occur from frequent falling.

Deep Bedding (7-10cm):

Shroomy loves burrowing and hiding, she actively renovates her burrows nightly and often buries her food (treasure).
