Bambi is a sweet and docile girl that unfortunately found herself living in the wild for awhile. She has lost a lot of weight when HSS volunteers found her seeking refuge in some concealed wiring at an HDB block back in November 2022.
Since then, she has steadily gained back her weight, and will easily polish her food bowl clean. She is a non-fussy eater and loves to be hand fed. While she may run quickly like a deer in the headlights if you try to carry her when she is not ready, Bambi will easily allow you to pet and carry her most of the time, especially when food is involved!
Bambi is a deep sleeper, but will occasionally peek out of her hideout if she hears you. She is mostly curious to check if you have a treat for her, be it fresh fruits or veggies. If you wake her from her deep slumber, you may hear her chatter her teeth in annoyance, but she can be easily contented with a treat or hand-fed seeds! During the day, you may see her come out to burrow or collect more bedding for her home. She is mostly active in the early to late morning of the day, but also runs on her wheel late at night. Lookout for her adorable stretches as she wakes up for the day!
Will you be the one to give Bambi her forever home?
