Schnapps’ is a cute lil’ mouse bean that’s full of energy. She is very active at night and will come out to run marathons on her wheel. She caught the heart of not only her fosterer but also her fosterer’s mum and dad the moment they saw her.
Schnapps’ is still a baby, and quite skittish so she is not comfortable with being touched/held at this point in time. But with some time and consistent effort, Schnapps’ will surely be peachy with her adopters in no time at all. She absolutely loves freeze dried tofu and that’ll definitely help in the taming process as well. You can also sneak in a few pets while she’s distracted eating as well!
If adopters do decide to free roam her, they should keep an eye on her at all times as very nimble and extremely quick and will climb on anything and everything possible.
Schnapps’ is extremely active and it would be great to have multiple enrichments in her cage such as ladders, grapevine, cork logs, bridges, different substrates (coco bark, coco peat, moss), different forages to keep her occupied. A silent wheel would be helpful if adopters are planning to keep Schnapps’ cage in their room as she runs multiple marathons in the middle of the night.
