Hennessy is a very lovable and curious hammo who looks like a tiny tiny potato sack! His favorite activity is...sleeping in his hideouts or deep in the bedding..
Since he is active mostly late at night (well, like most hamsters are), if you are an early sleeper, you may not catch him moving around much during the day, as he is a boy who needs his beauty sleep. He sometimes sleeps with his head down in the hideouts and it is very cute and funny to see!
Hennessy doesn't like when people disturb his slumber, so let him be, and he will be a happy ham! He tends to pee on the wheel, so it needs to be cleaned regularly in order to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Hennessy is still a bit shy and takes time to get to know people. If you try to grab him suddenly, he will get a fright and zoom away like Flash the superhero.(I am not kidding!) So his potential adopter will need to start slowly with patience.
However, the good news is that Hennessy does like to eat treats from your hand! So healthy treats will come in handy to get friendly with him! Hennessy is a friendly and amicable little hammo after all.

Requirements:
Cage: 80x50cm or bigger, unbarred
Wheel: 27cm or bigger, non wooden and it needs to be cleaned regularly as Hennessy tends to pee on the wheel
Sand: Any approved sand (his fosterer uses WitteMolen)
Bedding: Any approved bedding and please make sure he has sufficient bedding to burrow deep
Food: Hennessy has been currently fed Bunny nature dream expert for Syrians, +small amount of Science selective lab block with no issues.
Enrichments: Deep bedding, more than 3 hideouts, sprays, whimzees
