Tako is a cute little ball of angst with multiple piercings on his ear, making him look like a knockoff gangster. Despite having a grumpy little face, he is comfortable with being held and may even allow you to give him head pats while he lies down on your palm. Tako is extremely gentle and has never bitten anyone before. However, he does get frightened by sudden movements but can be easily bribed with superworms and pine nuts.

Tako absolutely LOVES his wheel so it would be awesome if his adopter could provide him with a large wheel. Tako has a nasty habit of peeing on his wheel and where he sleeps as he is in denial and wishes that he was born as a yellow pudding instead. Hence, his adopter will have to do frequent spot cleans and cleaning of his wheel.

Tako has a history of having yeast and bacterial infection so it would be recommended if his adopter has a history of cleaning hamsters with chlorhexidine. Tako may have to be cleaned from time to time.

Wheel: 26cm or larger (he is currently using a 26cm wheel)

Bedding: As per HSS requirements

Food: Fatpouches seed mixes (preferably standard/premium)

Enrichment: At least 3 hideouts, please give him sprays he LOVES them, even forage

Sand bath: approximately 30-40% of the size of his cage
