Sol is a small, chubby and independent boy. He enjoys lazing the day away, alternating between his various hideouts. He especially loves cooling tiles to cool himself down on hot days.
From the beginning, Sol has been a very calm and chill boy. He can be seen chilling on the floor especially during free-roam and cage cleaning. He was originally thought to be a girl so he was kept in his foster's house to be monitored in case ‘he’ was pregnant. However within a few days, they realised that he was a boy and was healthy enough to be placed up for adoption.
Sol enjoys having different substrates and is even potty trained himself to certain corners of his cage. His previous home was very very small so he has a slight cage aggression when his items are being moved around. Because of this, it's best that his future home does not have young children. However, he doesn’t mind being picked up and held in your palm. He is fairly calm and doesn’t bite when out of the cage.
His fosterer feels that he has a lot of potential to be a cuddly hamster with time and patience. Hopefully his future adopters are willing to work with him and help him feel safe.
