Ruffles is the energetic and extroverted puff who is always on the go. He is on the wheel, at the snack bowl, in the sand pit, on top of hideouts… basically everywhere!! He is the foodie and fatty of the pair. He loves food and his hearty appetite has resulted in him looking very ball-like…

Even though their fosteror tries to be really sneaky when topping up food, Ruffles always knows when the food bowl is full and will enthusiastically waddle to the bowl to get the first pick. He also sits in the middle of the food bowl (on his food) to have his meal. It’s an amusing sight! He is strong enough to run on a 25cm wheel but does well on a 21cm wheel as well.

Ruffles also loves climbing on top of hideouts to get to places – imagine a “the floor is lava” situation. Flat topped hideouts would make him very happy. He can be identified via the slightly ruffled fur (ha ha) behind his ears. He is curious about noises and always pokes his head out to greet you (or his next meal). His new family is encouraged to interact with him out of his cage in a hamster-safe environment :-)
