Just like his namesake in Garfield, Odie (the hammo) is an eager, loveable and dopey little guy :-)

Odie is the life of the party and is totally a people hamster (yknow, like a people person in hamster form hehe). He darts out whenever he hears a noise and stands on his hind legs (like a meerkat!) to try to get a glimpse of the action and to get some attention!! Be warned - this little guy will induce feelings of guilt when you make a noise around his cage and don’t take him out for cuddles… he looks at you with those ~sad eyes~ :-( He loves sleeping in the open and has the most adorable sleeping positions!

He is always pleased when his fosteror pays attention to him! His inquisitive nature means that he is eager to have adventures outside of his cage. He is relatively confident on hands outside of his cage and he is also pretty nice to hold cus he has gotten kinda fluffy (…fat…) This fluffball welcomes gentle squishes and pats only, no poking and preferably no fat-shaming hehe. His new family should continue the taming process by putting their hand in a fist and placing it some distance away from him which gives him the cue to waddle over and sniff your hand. Once he has made sure that you are friend (and not foe), he usually gives you licks of affection! His fosteror will provide more guidance :-)

He is also a very smart young ham who has successfully potty trained himself and eats really well (maybe a little too well…). All in all, he’s a 10/10 boi and he is ready to meet (and charm) his future family!
