Mario is a good tempered, quirky and all around adorable little guy. While he is chock full of energy and loves zooming around his enclosure every day, he also likes to take life easy. He can often be found napping out in the open, in adorable positions. His fosteror’s favourite is “The Bao” where he compresses himself into a ball (with his ears level with his head) and sleeps sitting upright). Very cute! He also loves sleeping under his wheel (he has made a little nest there) and in his sand pit.
He has a fairly large sandpit and likes sleeping around the perimeter. He has a quirky habit of scooching himself around the perimeter with his hind legs to make himself comfortable. It looks a little like he is swimming in the sand, with his eyes half/ fully closed. Again, very cute!
Mario is also good with humans and quite enjoys head massages (especially in the day when he is a little sleepy). He has dozed off momentarily while his fosteror was handling him and obliges for silly pictures (like the one of him in his apple hat below hehe). A sweet lil guy through and through.
His fosteror suspects that he might not enjoy eating in front of the camera as he has occasionally scurried away whenever she takes her phone out to creep take pictures of him eating. The hypothesis is still being tested but he has no qualms eating in front of humans!
Mario is looking for his (human) Luigi to embark on a lifetime of adventures. If you think you fit the bill, he can’t wait to hear from you!
