Description:
Lotus was found roaming the HDB estates covered in dirt, and balding in several areas. After weeks of care, she has revealed her pristine coat (that is also the colour of lotus biscoff). Her glow-up is truly reminiscent of her namesake.
Fresh water should be given to Lotus everyday. She is able to drink out of a water dish or a water bottle.
Food and treats: Bunny nature hamster dream expert for Syrians or equivalent. Lotus has shown interest in a wide variety of nuts including walnuts, macadamia, and pine nuts, so these can be offered to her as treats.
Substrate: Lotus is an avid digger. She likes to keep her paws busy by digging through coco peat, witte molen sand, and her oxbow pure comfort bedding. Any non-dusty bedding should work fine for lotus, as long as she is given a lot of it 🙂.
Avoid: Sudden movements, as lotus is still learning to accept love, potential adopters should be patient and gentle when handling her. Lotus may accidentally nibble on your fingers when accepting treats, avoid hand feeding smaller pieces of food.
Ideal environment: Lotus should be left in a quiet environment away from direct sunlight. As she has the tendency to hop off from heights, adopters should have a cage layout without any large/sudden drops where she could potentially hurt herself. Lotus is fairly easy to care for and would thrive in the care of a loving adopter.
