Jiji is named after the cat from the anime ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, because of her resemblance to the character. She is naturally cautious and a sweet and curious girlie! Apart from her soft fur, she also has a special white mark on the right side of her bottom belly and little white socks! Being an absolute action-packed entertainment, she is an active and excellent climber, runner and sometimes a jumper that would attempt to scare you by jumping at you: AKA A MINI NINJA! It also amazes her fosterer that she never fails to come out whenever she feels like it is time for her to start running the wheel (usually around 10:30pm - 11:00pm or sometimes even as early as 8:00pm), despite the lights still being on!
Aside from being fun to watch, she is also a huge attention seeker. When she senses you around her cage, she always becomes a busybody that follows your hand and or shadow to see what you are up to. However, she does have the tendency to jerk upon hearing sudden/random noises, but she has never bitten anyone! In fact, she is so well-natured, her fosterer didn’t even have to tame her! She also tends to give a stanky look when you let her sniff random objects, like a pen. During the day, you could also catch her pouching and dragging her bedding or whimzees into her hideouts, coming out to pee (yep, she toilet-trained herself) or just snacking! Furthermore, you would often catch her standing on her two feet like a meerkat and just staring into thin air!
Jiji is a perfect companion for anyone who loves daily action-filled early evenings up till mornings (usually consisting of either destroying toilet rolls or possibly whatever items that are biteable, APART FROM YOU!), and anyone who would like their very own curious yet quirky gentle ninja <3!
Fun fact: include some toilet rolls for her in her enclosure and watch her nibble away! She has a weird love (or maybe hate?) for them!
Medical history: Jiji has a history of an Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) but has made a stellar recovery! However, potential adopters should still monitor her pee closely for potential recurrences, and are also recommended to have her on a urinary supplement. You will be guided on her care by her fosterer, so no worries!
Requirements:
Cage: unbarred cage with HSS measurement requirement (the bigger the better!)
Wheel: non-wooden wheel with HSS size requirement (she tends to pee on her wheel)
Bedding: as per HSS requirement
Food: as per HSS requirement (currently on fatpouches delight and ultimate mix)
Enrichment: at least 2-3 ceramic hideouts, some chews/boredom breakers (eg. her favourite toilet rolls & whimzees), some sprays (if possible: flax, oat & wheat sprays), platforms (recommended as she loves to climb!), cocopeat (if possible)
