Haagen is a lively and curious critter who loves exploring the world and food around her. She will be the first to poke her snout into new hideouts and enrichment that are placed in her cage. She takes cautious steps and big sniffs and isn’t afraid to scale hideouts, dig through new substrates and snoop around everything new and unfamiliar.
She is hand tamed and is gentle on hands, allowing herself to be massaged. If she is in a calm mood, you will find her zoning out on your palm as you massage her, almost falling asleep on your palm. She moves slowly as she takes in the new environment and gets down to exploring right away.
Curiously, Haagen loves stretching (we’re talking full body stretches with a booty wiggle at the end heh) and yawns after her naps. Her loveable personality is sure to put a smile on your face! Being extremely food motivated, she is woken up from any nap if you put a snack near her snout and snaps into action to get her tiny paws on that treat. She has grown well under foster care (almost doubling in weight and is at a healthy weight now!) and fosteror hopes that her new family will continue to show her the love she deserves.
If you’re ready for a sweet treat, won’t you consider opening your heart and home to Haagen?
Requirements
Cage: unbarred cage preferred
Wheel: as per HSS requirements
Bedding: as per HSS requirements
Food: as per HSS requirements
Enrichment: 4 or more hideouts. She doesn’t seem to be a big fan of different substrates (eg. Cocopeat) so alternative forms of enrichment such as hideouts, thicker bedding, sprays and boredom breakers are recommended.
