Friend was rescued from a hoarding case of over 100 plus hamsters not long ago. Due to his rough childhood, he is very shy and will only come out of his hide when he smells food or when the lights are off. Once the lights go off, it is PARTY TIME! Friend will run on his wheels endlessly, occasionally stopping for his water break and snack time.

Taming will still be needed with Friend as he is still shy. However, he is overcoming his fear with the treats that he gets from his fosterer's hand. With more patience, Friend will one day be able to overcome his fears!
