Darling was rescued with her 3 cagemates in a tiny carrier by a passing cat feeder. She was the smallest of the group, and the cat feeder was enamored with her jet black colour. She was also the most mischievous of the bunch, escaping from the kitten cage the cat feeder had put them in by squeezing through the sizeable gaps, forcing her rescuer to feed cardboard strips through the bars to prevent another escapade.
Darling is definitely a force to be reckoned with, despite her stature. She is relentless when demanding to be let out for free-roam time; she will climb the bars of her cage, chew at them and stand with puppy-dog eyes at her cage door, all to guilt-trip you into bringing her out for a run.
Darling also enjoys climbing any unsuspecting human seated on the floor in her free-roam area. She is fearless in scaling any arm or shirt to reach the highest point possible. She also enjoys sneaking into dark spaces - which make her almost invisible due to her black coat!
