Unlike her brother Link, Zelda is a slim sweetheart who isn’t as food motivated (She still loves pine nuts though!). Zelda is also more easily scared, and if startled may scream at you from the safety of her burrows, though she has yet to chomp down on her fosterer when grabbed. Due to her wriggly nature, her pawrents need to be steady handed and calm, so an experienced owner would best suit her needs.
Zelda was abandoned on a rainy night at Changi Beach with the rest of her siblings and was initially on pregnancy watch due to being housed together with other hamsters. She is currently quite well potty trained and tends to pee in either her sand or specific hideouts, so it is easy to clean up after her. She has specific sprays she likes, namely the flax and millet sprays, and will avoid the others such as amaranth and paddy rice, so potential adopters should take note and purchase the ones she likes.
