Species: Syrian
Estimated Age: < 6months
Gender: Female
Likes: sleeping in the sand, running around the cage, escaping, any kind of yummy food, forage, corner of the cage, stoning stoning and stoning, being a busybody
Dislikes: sudden movements, dried baby corn, grabby hands
Nellie is definitely not a shy girl and would let you know that she is here (when you top up food for the others). She can be easily bribed with food and would eat anything (but dried baby corn and she will give the most disgusted face when you feed her something "nasty" LOL. Take, for example, cherry tomatoes. She acted as if I tried to feed her poison. But as soon as I walked away, she tried to eat it).
You would often see her stoning and this is one of her many quirks. She is also extremely smart. Once she knows where is the opening of the cage, she will run to the door and attempt to escape. Her fosterer once caught her trying to escape with one of her babies.
Nellie is a young mother of 5 and a pretty good one. She is a proud mom because all 5 of them look exactly like her.
She is generally a friendly girl but she might not be always okay with grabby hands. She can be easily startled by sudden moments and loud noises.
She is half potty-trained. And she also enjoys sleeping in the sand. Her fosterer would recommend a sand bath with a lid to keep her cozy and comfortable.
Would you be the one to bring Nellie home and sing the song like how Kelly Rowland did?
