Kanzi is an older ham but still young at heart. This silly boy is super inquisitive and loves free roaming. Whenever he hears his name (if he’s awake), he’ll stick his head out of his hide/burrow and look at you with big adorable eyes.

Although he’s inquisitive, he’s a gentle and laidback ham. In the day he sleeps, waking up in the late evenings to ask for treats. Kanzi is an easy-going dude who is easy to please and very content. He enjoys free roaming around his fosterer’s room in the evenings and gets to come out a few times a week.

Kan is comfortable with humans and doesn’t mind pets and human hands, although he can get startled if you move too quickly. Initially he was cautious and hesitant around humans but he quickly warmed up to his fosterer and can be easily bribed with good food.

Despite being a Syrian ham, Kanzi is on the small side. He likes treats but seems to enjoy hoarding his seed mix more than eating it :’( His diet can be supplemented with hamster porridge once or twice a week. (Note: seed mix should still make up majority of his diet)

Kanzi is an absolute sweet boi with the gentlest soul who deserves the world!

Food: Fatpouches Syrian mix recommended (He’s tried BN and rodipet but doesn’t seem to like it that much)

Sand: Any approved sand

Wheel: min 29cm

Enrichment: min. 3 hideouts including a syrian-sized multi-chamber and ceramic hide or tile
