Digsby (pronounced digs-bee) had a rough start in life. Abandoned with his cage mate along a HDB void deck with minimal food and water in filthy conditions, one would think that he’d end up a bitter and mean little hamster but Digsby is the complete opposite. He is as sweet as they come with a good nature, albeit a little shy at times.

True to his name, Digsby enjoys making tunnels and designing his precious home to his liking now that he finally lives by himself. Whenever his foster mum spot cleans his home, Digsby runs over to wherever the action’s at and tries to dig at the bedding at the same time too.

Maybe he’s unhappy that his foster mum is undoing all his hard work? Maybe he’s trying to get a cleaning participation award? Maybe he’s trying to save his hoard of seeds from the clutches of his evil foster mum?  We will never know but one thing’s for sure, Digsby is particular about how things are arranged and he will let you know about it through his special gentle ways.

This sweetheart definitely deserves a forever home (and a medal for best designer) with everything he’s been through thus far. Make him yours and watch him undo your designs, get busy decorating his new home to his liking, and happily stuff his face with his favourite foods with only the top half of his body draped over his food bowl afterwards.
