If you have ever been or met a moody teenager who prefers to hide away in the comfort of your/their room, then you will surely understand what Marceline is like. Named after an emo goth vampire queen from the cartoon ‘Adventure Time’, her name embodies her personality.
Marceline likes shutting herself up in her hideouts and “locks” the door by covering up any entrances with bedding so she can have some privacy. If you catch her awake in her wheel at night, she will engage you in a staring competition and she will likely win. She is timid and may occasionally nip if she suddenly gets picked up by a stranger but she is currently in the process of learning that not all humans are out to harm her.
Bestowed with the God given talent of escaping from her cage no matter how impossible a feat it may seem, she will require a cage that comes with a lid or secure locks. The vampire queen will also benefit from daily free roam time and if you’re lucky, you may hear her chirp out of excitement.
Lastly, Marceline would like to clarify that her name is pronounced Marceline (mar-ser-lynn), not Marsiling (mar-see-ling) like the MRT station. Thank you.
