Pebble is cautious of her surroundings, as she was small as a pebble when she arrived. She enjoys sleeping in her burrow most of the day, but you will see her occasionally coming out for food before going back for more naps. She is a curious girl who likes to come out of her hide to investigate when she hears you, perking up her ears and sniffing the air with her little pink nose. She will let her annoyance be known with squeaks if you disturb her snooze! At night, she spends hours running a marathon on her wheel and exploring her space. She will thrive in a home with more enrichments.

Pebble is timid and does not like sudden or big movements. She will come to your hand to sniff and take treats, but may nibble out of curiosity. She loves to bathe in her sand bath, but is not potty trained yet. Spot cleaning is required as she tends to pee in her hideouts.

As Pebble is still young, she is nervous and will take awhile to get used to interactions. She will benefit from a loving owner who has proper knowledge on handling hamsters and is not afraid of nibbles.
