Don’t be deceived by his cute little baby face, Wheat is a chonky little hammo whose love for food grows in direct proportion to his size. He’ll readily accept treats and snacks from you, and you know how dogs chase after squirrels? That’s how Wheat chases after a pine nut.

He loves his free roam time, and when he’s not out of the cage, he spends his time digging in his bedding and zooming through toilet paper rolls. He will rest on your palm when he wants a break, but he doesn’t like to be held for long - he’ll nibble lightly at your fingers to let you know that he wants to go back. He’s often seen pancaking in his cage on hot days, and if you want a friend who chills hard, eats hard and plays hard - Wheat’s your guy :)
