Dunphy is like your typical human toddler. A little shy but is extremely playful. He loves to climb around and explore every single nook and cranny of the space.

He is a gentle soul. You can see it in his eyes. He takes food from your fingers gently, he chews on his food gently, he runs on the wheel gently...

He was found abandoned in a cardboard box with his siblings. Despite his traumatic past, he is warm and gentle and ready to receive and give love to anyone who offers him treats and gives him enough space to be the active bug he is.

He is named Dunphy because he reminds me of Phil Dunphy from the TV show, Modern Family. Phil Dunphy is such a wholesome and loveable character in the show, and Dunphy the hamster is a reflection of this amazing personality. He will be a wonderful addition to any household <3

Special requirements:

Cage: Minimum 100cm x 50cm. No bars.

Cage Set up: Many hideouts, platforms, bridges, tunnels should be given for him to stay stimulated. Also, forages should be given.

Food: Additional protein should be given (e.g. dried tofu) because he is still young and growing

Free roam time: As Dunphy needs free-roam time every night, it will be good to have a hamster-proof space for him to free roam in, supervised (he managed to climb up curtains when I wasn't looking. Very dangerous!)
