Pesto is a round ball of fluff and entertainment. He's very sweet, and doesn't bite. He likes to keep his food pouched in his cheeks, and hence almost always has full pouches. When he's upset, he will unpouch all his food into your hands, showing you just how much he's carrying.

He can almost always be found snoozing in his sandbox, but frequently gets sand or a small piece of bedding stuck onto his eyeball. Yeah, he's literally a few grains short of a full sandbox. Nevertheless, he's very tame and doesn't mind being handled so his fosterer can help remove these from his eye.

Pesto also enjoys running on his wheel, but does so almost exclusively in the dead of night. He enjoys platforms and sleeping on top of them like a melted puddle of hamster. He loves his dry seed mix, and will polish off almost everything, but is pickier with fresh vegetables. Funnily enough, Pesto also enjoys the smell and taste of durian! A funky taste for a funky ham like him.

Requirements:

Cage - Pesto is currently residing in an Alaska. Any cage that meets the minimum requirements is sufficient.

Food - Pesto has been fed Rodipet and Bunny Nature Expert without issues.

Sand - any approved sand, but preferably ones that are not very fine. Currently using Wittemolen, and the larger grains are easier to get out of his eye when he sleeps in his sandbox.

Bedding - any approved bedding, but preferably less dusty brands like Oxbow. His current Kaytee bedding has smaller dusty pieces that can get stuck on his eye.

Enrichment: At least 3 hideouts
