Walnut was named .. walnut because that’s what her fosterer managed to successfully bribe her with when she first received her.
Walnut is a mixture of both worlds, she’s a suuuuuper gentle girl when she’s taking food from you and she’ll allow you to hold her, but on the other hand, she’s a little ball of energy who loves to roam outside her cage. This also explains why her profile pictures are of her coming out from her carrier - it symbolizes how she loves to come out to explore (aka you need to give her sufficient free roam time daily). But no the real reason is because 1 x photographer and 1 x fosterer was not enough to get her to cooperate and stay still, so if you’re prepared to adopt her, be prepared to welcome an active and excitable new member to your family!
Oh and one quirk that her fosterer would like to mention is that Walnut pees and poops in specific areas in her cage, so she’s a very clean gal (and it’ll also be easy for you to clean up too!)
