Dou Nai is the yummy mummy of Edamame, Pineapple, Peach (adopted) and Bear (adopted). She came to us heavily pregnant and terrified. She gave birth shortly after reaching us. At first she would squeak at every small movement, and hid her new babies deep in her burrow. Who can blame her?
She was being used in illegal breeding, with her babies being stolen every few months to be SOLD, and all she could do was watch helplessly, while she was only a baby herself!
She has had over a month to calm down, with minimal disturbance and she has grown more trusting of humans. She (and her babies) have gained alot of weight since joining us, and is becoming a chonky white hamster! She is fine with being picked up and running on hands, and will run to her bowl when she hears food. If you provide her with a large sand bath (a5 sized), she entertains you with her belly rolls in the sand. When she is grooming herself, she looks like a perfect white circle.
She is the sweetest and just needs someone she can trust. She is done with breeding and wants to be LOVED
