Meet Don Don!
Mr Don Don is a sweet gentleman, stops and peeps at you with his dreamy eyes that makes him irresistibly cute.
He isn't potty trained though and tends to pee at a specific corner and thus his cage needs to be spot cleaned more frequently. He also has a tendency to dirty his wheel. Excuse this fella, he will makes up for it with his gentle mannerisms.
He has been with his foster for a few months now and has chonk up a fair bit. Gonna love those belly rolls. If he is lazing on his wheel, you can pet and pet and pet him for a really long time. He never once give a hard bite, only nibbles when he disapproves.
Don Don isn't fussy with his food, he is on Bunny Nature Dwarf Expert and fresh vegetables and fruits.
Will you be the one to patiently love and nurture him?

Gretel (Adopted)
Name: Gretel
Species: Syrian
Estimated age: approx. 5 weeks
Gender: Female
Likes: Napping in cereal box, large sandbox, Mazuri feed
Dislikes: Sudden movement, human hands
In the fairytale, Hansel & Gretel leaves a food trail only to return and realise it’s all gone. With this sweet, little hammy Gretel, it’s the opposite. She’s the shy one who peeks her head out of her hide to sneak the food away.
Gretel spends most of her day nesting comfortably in her hide and comes out at night to nom, especially when she hears or smells newly placed food/ treats. Gretel is a quiet girl who, with patience and love, would learn to trust human hands and come out of her hide more regularly.
Will you be the one to give this baby her furever home?

Jojo (Special Needs) (Adopted)
Macca (Adopted)
Name: Macca (short for Macadamia)
Species: Campbell dwarf hamster
Sex: Male
Estimated age: 8 weeks
Likes: Running on his wheel, treats, grain sprays
Dislikes: Bright lights and noise
Characteristics/quirks/habits:
This young and bright-eyed hamster is highly energetic and enjoys running on his wheel. He’s also easily startled and can get easily frightened when touched. This shy hamster hates the limelight: He’ll hide if you turn on the lights, so he needs darkness for his true personality to shine. He’s slowly warming up to his fosterer though, and lets himself be petted from time to time. Over time, he too will learn to trust his fur-ever owner.
Requirements:

Wheel: 21 cm or larger
Bedding: Oxbow / Kaytee unscented paper beddings
Diet: Fat Pouches premium mix / Fresh vegetables every other day

Benji (Adopted)
Species: Syrian
Gender: Male
Est. Age: approx. 1.5 months
Likes: Zooming on his wheel and pumpkin seeds
Dislikes: Sudden movement, human hands
Fosterer’s Instagram: @thehammyfoster
Benji is 1 of 4 bbs that was surrendered to HSS. Benji is slowly warming up to his fosterer but is still afraid of sudden movements. However, he will willingly take treats from you! Especially if its pumpkin seeds 😋!
Benji comes out to play around 9-10pm and will run on his wheel for as long as he can (sometimes 2 hours at a time)! He is still cautious of his surroundings and will pause at any movement or sounds.
Benji is not hand tamed yet but with some patience and time, Benji is sure to be a lovable hammy!
For more information about Benji or if interested adopters have any questions about the requirements stated in this profile, please DM his fosterer @thehammyfoster on Instagram before applying! You can check out this stud on his highlights reel as well ;)

Cage: 80x60cm or bigger, no bars (Benji is a biter and a climber so strictly no bars!!)
Wheel: 30 cm, non-wooden as he sometimes pees on his wheel
Sand: Witte Molen/Versele Laga Chinchilla sand
Bedding: Oxbow bedding
Diet: Fatpouches, SS pellets and fresh vegetables every other day
Enrichment: Multiple hideouts

Barry (Adopted)
Gender: Male
Species: Dwarf
Est age: 7mths
Likes: Pine Nuts, Dried Tofu, Bedding, Giving Licks
Barry is a gentle and affectionate ham! He will stay still on the palm while receiving neck rubs, and it’s such a sight to see because he has a very unique coat colour! He loves giving licks on his fosterer's palm and will do whatever he can to get a pine nut treat!
Note:
Barry is now fully recovered from a very serious case of fungal and bacterial skin infection. Potential adopters need to note the following:
1. Use natural (e.g. vinegar) disinfectants to clean the cage, or just use water. Other disinfectants, such as soap will irritate his skin
2. He is allergic to dust that comes with commercial beddings. Adopter will need to shred kitchen paper towels or unbleached tissue paper as bedding.
3. His skin does not react to Wittmolen sand, so it is suggested to use that for Barry.
4. Adopter should be prepared to bring him to the vet if he has any skin issues in the future. His infection was likely a result of poor immunity, and adopter should be financially and mentally prepared.
Riley (Adopted
Species: Winter White
Estimated age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Likes: Making burrows, collecting handouts (uhm! seeds!) from your hands
Dislikes: Being woken up in the middle of the day.. she squeaks!
Riley is a curious and lovely girl, who would pop out of her hiding place to say hello if she hears you calling for her. She used to nibble on people's hands quite a bit, but that's all in the past and she never meant any harm. :) Riley is independent enough not to demand for pets or constant attention, but she's happy to be picked up and given some TLC once or twice a day.
As like all hammies, Riley doesn't like sudden movements but she loves it if you would sit and read to her. She's definitely a great companion, but probably not the best friend to share a bedroom with -- her favourite night time activity is playing with metallic tip of her water bottle :P
Riley is an easygoing and good natured girl, and doesn't demand much beyond the basics that's recommended. Who did i hear looking out for a new best best friend? :)

Luca (Adopted)
Species: Dwarf Hybrid
Estimated age: 3-4 months old
Gender: Male
Likes: Burrowing, sprays and human interaction
Dislikes: Being woken up
Fosterer's Instagram highlight link: here!
Luca was rescued in the beginning of December with many other hamsters. They were all in really bad shape but thankfully, he was a healthy boy.
In the beginning, Luca was very timid and would often bite anything that entered his cage. But he has come a long way. Since then, he has become the tamest and curious boy ever! He now enjoys spending his days sleeping the morning away and coming out in the late afternoon to run on his wheel, munching on sprays and asking for attention when he sees people around.
Luca loves being treated like the baby that he is and will gladly climb onto your hand to be syringe fed with fatpouches mash food (his favourite). He is also one of the few hamsters that responds to his name when called (you can check out the highlight link for proof!). Luca loves burrowing into bedding to sleep so deep bedding is required for him.
Luca is looking for someone that will be able to interact with him in the late afternoons and spoil him with a variety of sprays and deep bedding for him to forage and be stimulated during his waking hours.
Requirements
Cage: Unbarred cage; IKEA SAMLA or anything bigger
Wheel: 21cm or larger
Bedding: At least 10cm or more
Food: Any HSS approved seed mix + mazuri lab blocks/ science selective
Enrichment: sprays!
