Christopher is part of a batch of 4 brothers, the Parcs and Rec gang! After being bullied by his siblings, he was split apart and has stayed with his fosterer ever since. Christopher is an extremely food motivated lazy boy and is no longer super flighty! He can be easily cuddled and handled without fear of nibbling, and his fosterer and easily trim his nails without worry!

He is part of a large batch of rescued Roborovskis, and most of them have a large fat deposit on their chest with Christopher being no exception! He can often be found snoozing away in his sand bath, and owners should take note of the requirements for a Roborovski hamster, with an ample amount of sand to prevent greasy fur. Christopher is a huge foodie, and will happily ransack his sprays and consume all superworms given, so adopters have to be careful not to overfeed him as he is already twice the size of your average male Roborovski.

Requirements

Cage: Unbarred cage of at least 4,500 sq cm

Wheel: 21cm onwards

Bedding: Paper-based like Oxbow or Fatpouches teabag bedding

Sand: Wittemolen / Versele Laga chinchilla sand in 30% of the cage floor space (Can be up to 50%)

Food: Currently being fed Fatpouches Premium + Truffle Mix

Enrichment: Lots of bedding to burrow in as well as a huge sand bath/sand area that occupies 30% to 50% of the cage floor space, and tons of sprays
