Tayto (Adopted)

Species: Dwarf
Estimated Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Likes: Food, sleeping
Dislikes: Being grabbed suddenly, exercise

Tayto was abandoned and rescued when he was roaming a HDB estate.  He
was so skinny, wet and very scared. However, he has made great progress and now he is used to human handling! He takes healthy treats from his fosterer's hands and allows humans to pet him while he eats. He will even crawl up on your palm to just sit there and give you licks...

He is a super foodie and you will see him pouch anything in the food bowl… ! When he hears his name being called, he sticks his head out of the bedding, then carefully and slowly walks towards us with the hope of getting treats!  He tends to pouch lots of food as if someone is trying to steal his food, probably due to the trauma he has been through.

Tayto has transformed from a skinny and timid hammo to ... a male curvy supermodel fairly quickly! Haha! His fosterer is watching his weight to make sure he is in a healthy range!

The amazing thing about Tayto is that he knows his fosterer's finger is not nom nom! (He has never bitten his fosterer.) He really is a gentle giant.  However his potential adopters should give him some time to get used to his new environment and to fully open up for you. It shouldn't take too long till he learns who his pawrent is as he is a clever boy!

When his fosterer takes him out of his cage to burn off extra calories, he dashes around for a few minutes then goes into the hideout and dozes off...  (Please do remember Tayto dashes really fast when he is scared, so please be extra careful with small children.) Even though you wouldn't see Tayto being active during the day, he roams around the cage in the middle of the night.  He is a rather chill hammo, who prefers sleeping to playing, so multiple different types of hideouts and a bit of scattered sprays may work for him to do more roaming and exploring in the cage as forms of exercising.. One important note to his new pawrent is that Tayto tends to sneeze in the sand bath, therefore his vet advised no sand bath for him!

You will get a little gentle BFF who waits for you to come home everyday and even gives you licks, if you give him a forever home and a second chance in life! Tayto has a high potential to be your tamed little creature. Don’t you think this is a win-win situation?

Will you be the one for Tayto…?
