Tando was rescued from a hoarding situation with his mama and littermates. He was a teeny tiny shypie boi who always feels like a small boi in a big world. He is super quirky and scuttles around his cage when he senses any big scary things (i.e. your hand or some treats). His little legs work like propellers and he can run incredibly fast from any ‘threats’. Tando is still learning that some humans are good, and he is becoming braver day by day! Sometimes he even accepts big scary pine nuts from his big scary fosterer’s hand!
Tando spends most of his day hidden in his nest and/or burrows, so it’s recommended to give him lots of bedding for the busy boy to make his tunnels. At night, he comes out to snack and munch and run on his wheel. He can be startled by sudden movements and/or loud sounds, so he should be placed in a quiet location.
Tando is a happy and healthy boy, he loves food and has a good amount of chonk on him. With time and lots of treats, he’ll definitely grow into a brave man-do.
Will you be the one to turn this shypie into a big confident boi?
