Sweetie, unlike his name, is extremely skittish and given his background as in the recent Bedok abandonment this isn’t unwarranted. He does however love his Fatpouches seed mix and will inquisitively pop his head out of his burrows the moment he hears the crinkling of the bag and spoon.

Sweetie is not potty trained and tends to pee in a specific hideout he has designated as his pee spot despite best efforts of his fosterer to potty train him. To correct this behaviour, a large sand bath would be required for potential adopters and well as some patience in ensuring that a regimen is followed. He does prefer specific sprays such as flax over others, though he doesn’t seem to be as picky with his treats. Sweetie would fit in best with families that do not have children as he is more easily startled by sudden movements than his siblings.

Enrichment: Lots of bedding to burrow in as well as ceramic hideouts to sleep in, along with sprays and forage for enrichment as well as a large sand bath.
