IG Stories highlights: here
Ruby was rescued from a hoarding case and was kind of awkwardly long and slim when she first came, but thankfully now she has gained weight and is of a healthy size! Ruby is a shy but curious girl who would come near your hands to sniff and see if there are any of her favourite pine nuts for her to munch on.
Ruby took to the art of burrowing quickly and now rests and hides in her burrows hence a min of 10cm bedding would be required but the more the better! She does love her Dino hideout as well and can be spotted napping there. Ruby is a night runner and would be running on her wheel in the wee hours of the night. She also takes a few days to finish her seed mix but enjoys her fresh vegetables very much on alternate days.
Ruby dislikes being picked up but she tolerates it and is a speedy girl, zooming from one hand to another. Therefore, she would need to be handled with care. She does nip fingers perhaps out of curiosity or telling you that she’s unhappy and hence would not be suitable for families with young children. With time and patience plus her fav treats, she can gradually get more used to human contact. Would you be the one to care for this precious gal, in sickness and in health?
