Dislikes: being touched without warning, dusty bedding, confusing/unfamiliar surroundings

Pulled Pork (PP / PoPok) was born with lower immunity and neurological problems due to possible inbreeding but that hasn’t stopped him from living his best life. He’s very adorable (every vet that has seen him loves him) and does some funny things around his cage (sleeps in the open, waddles to his food bowl to eat upside down, and drags his whimzee chew everywhere). He is a healthy and chubby boi who has been tested and cleared of mites and fungal/bacterial infections- he’s also potty trained and keeps everything tidy!

He is extremely affectionate and excited to see people, but is quite scared of unfamiliar faces and touch because of his condition (and may bite). Repeating the taming process with his new owner will most likely be necessary and inevitable. Pokpok is the perfect hamster for somebody who’s relaxed, easygoing, and patient- someone who wouldn’t mind observing his weird antics and taking the taming process step by step slowly. He definitely warms up to people if he feels safe and comfortable around them <3 :)

Potential adopters should make sure to have the following important things:

1. dust free bedding like fatpouches teabag or pawfavor would be best, as he has allergies (oxbow and kaytee bedding will be shifted as long as adopter is willing to thoroughly sift the bedding)

2. a single storey no-bar cage (a samla for example) and deep bedding (to cushion his flipping) as he’s prone to being off-balance and falls easily.

3. No platforms in his cage for the same reason above
