Margo is the funniest hamster you will ever interact with. Everytime her fosterer comes near her cage, she rushes her out of hideout, in hopes to get some treats. She has tons of energy and has the entire room to free roam for hours before she climbs back into her cage on her own to rest. She loves her walnuts and will carry her shelled walnut to the place she trusts most - her wheel.
Because of her cataract, she is practically (legally) blind. Lack of interaction with her previous owner has also caused her to be averse to touch. She depends on her sense of smell so she is always alert. She has trouble differentiating between food and skin so she tends to bite as well. Margo is not meant for adopters who are looking for hamsters that can be held or touched. But her fosterer swears that she can just sit by Margo’s cage and just observe her behaviour for hours because she is a very quirky hamster.
Margo came from the most unfortunate background. She was found loitering at a HDB void deck after being abandoned. She was found with severe cataract on one eye, but the other eye is a really pretty ruby-colour. She screamed and screamed when handled by the vet and no one understood why, but turns out she was pregnant. Because of how old she is, her babies unfortunately did not survive the newborn stage.
Margo is deserving of a warm and loving home. Will you be able to give her the home she needs?
Special requirements:
Cage: Minimum 100cmx50cm, no tall platforms
Adopter must be prepared to not be able to touch or hold her at all, although there is a possibility of her being tamed with slow progression.
Adopter must be able to provide Margo with free roam time every night.
