Custard (Adopted)

Species : Dwarf Winter white
Gender : Female
Estimated age : 3-4 months
Likes : Mealworms!
Dislikes : She doesn't touch the oat in the seed mix, yikes.

Cutie Custard is rescued together with her nine siblings in a cardboard box by a public member, who later surrendered them to HSS.

She looked so young and tiny in her temporary cage and stole the heart of her fosterer with her cute little face and big beany eyes. We decided to name her Custard for her close resemblance to her foster sister Mustardhammo.

Oh my, this little one is so friendly. Even when she first came, she will approach and climb onto everyone's hand. Just climbing on and off like a playground. One month on, she had poof up quite a bit, on the way to becoming a Custard pudding.

Custard will be an easy ham to take care of. She is still very young, agile and fast , so will be safer to free roam her in a safe enclosed space which is easier to watch after. At this point, she is not suitable to be handled by very young children due to her agility and risk of dropping her. Although she is fine being handled, she doesn't like being held for long, and would rather run around freely. She enjoy a wide variety of food and fresh veggies and fruits, broccoli and corn etc and her occasional spread of Fatpouches premium seed mix.

She prefers hiding in her big hideout, an Ikea Variera box , rather than the small ones available to her. Still not potty trained yet, but she pees at a specific spot and will need frequent spot cleaning and sanitizing. Loves rolling in her wittemolen sand.

Sweet like Custard pudding, this little one will melt your heart.
