Croquette is the most adorable robo ham. He is both burious and a little silly. He abso-lutely loves running on both a wheel AND a saucer!

This little robo was suffering from fur loss below his chin but the fur has soon grown back with better nutrition and a relaxing environment from his foster parents.

Croquette will require an experienced owner who can take care of him and monitor his fur condition over time. We have tried Oxbow paper bedding, Rodipet Birch Bedding, Fatpouches Teabag bedding - and he has not shown any allergic reaction to these substrates. It is OK to experiment with different brands for him but also to monitor him closely for any signs of allergy.

Croquette doesn't bite and it may be possible to tame him gently with food (he's already starting to open up to us!). He will do well with a patient and gentle owner with calm energy. He is actually quite outgoing for a Roborovski hamster and will even eat from your fingers!

As it is likely that stress caused his fur loss we do not advise for him to be in a family with young children or be placed in an area with too much traffic and noise.

Requirements

Cage: Tank/Acrylic or Bin cages (NO bar cage)

Wheel: 19cm or higher. Saucer is optional but would be good to have (21cm saucer) cos he is super active

Diet: Fatpouches standard/premium seed mix

Enrichment: minimum 3 hideouts

Sand: HSS approved sand - to fill at least 1/3 of his cage

Bedding: oxbow, fatpouches tea bag bedding or birch bedding.
