In the short span of time that Cosmos has been with his fosterer, he has accepted and eaten just about everything that was offered to him. Feed him in the morning and his food bowl will be emptied by nighttime; that is just how much Cosmos loves food and we love him for that.

Despite being rescued from a sad situation where he was kept in buckets along with other hamsters, Cosmos is still extremely gentle and sweet. Though he may run away from your hands at first, he will gradually allow you to scoop him up slowly if you allow him some time to get used to you. He has never bitten anyone and only shows them love through tiny licks – even if he was being fed bitter medicine immediately before.

When he’s not hiding out in his ceramic hideouts, he can be found sleeping in the open surrounded by large amounts of bedding, especially if the weather is warm out.

Cosmos definitely has the potential to be as large as the Universe and also the potential to be an absolute snuggle bug for anyone who is willing to invest time and love into him.
