Contrary to popular belief, PB’s name does not stand for ‘peanut butter’. It stands for ‘pee boi’ because on the first day at his fosterer’s place, she sprayed pee all over the floor at a 30-degree angle in sheer panic. Her fosterer did not appreciate that because some landed on her toes. In addition, PB was misgendered and was found to be a girl after living with her fosterer for a bit. Too late for a name change now, and PG (pee girl) just doesn’t sound as great.
Like the rest of her siblings, she occasionally screams when being picked up. Thankfully, PB is slowly warming up to her fosterer with the help of her favourite foods and barely screams anymore. But she will still run away from strange hands at times.
Despite her small size, PB seems to be a glutton in disguise and back when she still lived with her siblings and mother, she often stuffed food into her pouches while everybody slept. Now, she lives happily alone and sits in her food bowl, slowly munching on her food and taking her sweet time. She is still in the midst of discovering new foods but seems to really enjoy Emeraid (to help her gain weight because she’s very tiny at only 40g) to the point that she will lick remnants off of her fosterer’s finger. Also, walnuts. She loves walnuts.
Due to the recent hot weather, PB will seek out cooler spots to sleep in, such as the side of a glass jar, a ceramic hideout, and her sandbox. What a smart little cookie! Her fosterer recommends that she be provided cooler surfaces to sleep on to make her comfortable.
Her sweet face and interesting fur pattern (e.g. her dark “eyeshadow”) have led many to think that she looks like a baby possum.
