Dumpling is a very gentle and sweet boy. He does not bite his fosterer and is perfectly fine with being held. Being the curious boy he is, Dumpling enjoys climbing around his fosterer’s legs and hands during playpen time.
However, he is also a very shy boy who would run away from one end of his cage to the other end if he was to get frightened by his fosterer’s sudden hand movements. Although he is generally fine with being held, he does nibble if he gets frightened and may even shower you with his poop. It would be good to let Dumpling sniff your fingers before scooping him up to let him know of your presence. Dumpling would sniff your fingers and may even lick it for you to peep at his cute and tiny little tongue.
Dumpling is semi potty trained where pees in both his sand bath and bedding. Hence, his adopter will still have to do regular spot cleans.
Dumpling LOVES his broccoli. It was the only food that his fosterer could bribe him with when she was trying to persuade him to climb onto her hand. Dumpling really does enjoy his broccoli supper at 12am so potential adopters should always keep some extra broccoli for him :))
Dumpling likes his toilet roll a lot so it would be good to add one into his cage.
Despite being more of a night owl, Dumpling still does come out regularly in the afternoon to grab a few snacks before returning to his chambers. If you were to stay up at night, you may catch the little one having a marathon on his wheel!
