This fluffy and curious boy was rescued from an abandonment inside a lift! Left in a small tupperware alone, he was rescued along with Grapes and Peaches who were housed together in a separate tupperware.

Rambutan is the most kay-po and food-starved hamster there is. As soon as he senses his fosterer’s presence by the cage, he would perk up on his two little hind legs and sniff around as if he was begging and sensing if there would be treats coming his way! While he is extremely food-motivated, he still has a long way to go in trusting humans.

Squirmy and skittish, Rambutan would not find you worth his time if food isn’t present. He is often wary of human hands and has to be approached gently so as not to startle him. Despite his cowardly nature, he has never once bitten his fosterer and is just a timid, gentle soul. With consistent taming and bonding, he is sure to be a loving and cuddly hamster that you can count on for entertaining days to come.

As he is suuuuper active and loves to run around, frequent free roams in a hamster-proofed room is needed to satisfy his zoomer antics. If you love a clingy and attention-seeking hamster that will flood your life with joy and laughter, he is surely the one for you! ;)

Enrichment: at least 4 hideouts and a multi-chamber so he would feel more at home
