Poppy (Adopted)
Species: Syrian
Estimated Age: 1.5 months
Gender: Female
Likes: Dehydrated tofu treats, burrowing in the day, loads of attention at night, broccoli
Dislikes: Sudden movement and noises, being grabbed
As she was weaned from her mother at a very young age, Poppy is still very skittish and cautious when it comes to new people (and scents). However, with enough time and patience, she will learn to trust you and beg for your attention at night. She is a wild child at night, demanding for attention by climbing the bars of her cage and staring till she gets it.
Poppy has almost doubled in weight since she joined HSS’ foster programme, definitely has the potential to be a chonky girl! She is toilet trained and keeps her cage super tidy. She removes all the seeds from the sorghum and flax sprays given to her, and carries them to her food bowl. She is a strong believer of “Food goes into the food bowl, nowhere else!”
If you love needy pets, Poppy is the right girl for you!
